When using the V2 long model, if any phrase included in a phrase set includes one of ' < ', ' > ', ' $ ', ' { ', ' } ', or ' " ', the API returns an InvalidArgument error with the message "Failed to parse anonymous PhraseSet".

I haven't been able to find any documentation stating that these characters cannot be included in Phrases.

So far I have only tested this with the Golang library and the V2 Long model with the en-US language code.

I have informed our engineering team of this feature request. There is currently no ETA for its implementation.

A current workaround would be to check the returned "boundingPoly" [1] "vertices" for the returned "textAnnotations". If the calculated rectangle's heights > widths, than your image is sideways.
