Thank you for reporting this! It looks like when search started for the first time Studio creates local index of Google maven repo that leads to a minute of waiting time

Overall, after minute of building cache - it is full functioning and second search will be very fast. Still, building local cache issue should be fixed.

1. Describe the bug or issue that you're seeing.
I'm trying to add Room dependency in android studio from Project structure dialog, whenever i search for anything it infinitely shows searching, searching without giving any error. I have active internet connection, adding inside dependencies { } tag works fine.
Please fix this searching issue. it's super hard to search online for available dependecies, most of them are older versions we don't even know the latest.
2. Attach log files from Android Studio
2A. In the IDE, select the Help..Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data menu option.
2B. Create a diagnostic report and save it to your local computer.
2C. Attach the report to this bug using the Add attachments button.
