They told me they've never heard of this issue before and we're unable to file a report on my behalf, but that they would do what they could within their power to take note of the issue and pass word up the chain.

The issue happened again, immediately, as soon as I set the preference to 5G.
I will post photos momentarily.

My wife and I both have pixel 7 pro with tmobile. The 5g locks up and does not allow calls or SMS to process.
Has caused issues when we needed to get ahold of each other and phone refuses to dial out.
This also happens regardless of location.
I have to place the call 3-4.times or people will try and call me 3-4.times before the call goes through.
This does not happen to the iPhone users in my house.

I need my Phone update to a Android 14 with a Moto G Styus 5g 2023 today
Description
Pixel 7 (USA, MP1.0)
- Android Version
14 (UQ1A.240105.004)
- Steps to reproduce the problem (including sample code if appropriate).
Set device to prefer 5G signal (This is a default setting.)
It may be important to note that this specific instance occurs on a device connected to Mint Mobile (T-Mobile)
Disconnect from Wi-Fi.
Step outside. Go for a walk. Go for a drive. Literally be outside doing anything on cell signal for at least 10 minutes. Location does not matter.
- What happened.
5G signal drops entirely, then the phone loses all cell signal data in entirety. This will persist until the phone feels working again (Usually within 5 - 15 minutes. Not always.) OR the user sets the device to prefer an LTE connection.
This issue will happen entirely regardless of location or actual cell signal strength.
- What you think the correct behavior should be.
5G signal should not drop. Device should not entirely lose access to cell signal data (internet service) suddenly and intermittently.
- Is this a security related issue? Yes/No
No
This bug makes my device unusable as a cell phone. It causes me to drop calls and lose all ability to communicate with my family, partner, and coworkers. This issue has MANY reports here on IssueTracker AND online, yet Google Pixel phone support claims to not have a single bug report.
Proof of known issue:
I am willing and able to do anything that may assist with isolating and diagnosing this issue. This needs to be remedied as soon as possible.
