What you would like to accomplish:

I would like to be able to perform multipart copy operations when using the S3 interoperable API. It currently returns the following error when attempting to do so:

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?>
<Error>
	<Code>NotImplemented</Code>
	<Message>A header or query you provided requested a function that is not implemented.</Message>
	<Details>UploadPartCopy is not implemented for multipart uploads.</Details>
</Error>

This would help improve S3 interoperability when using the AWS SDK and/or CLI tooling.

How this might work:

Add support for UploadPartCopy

If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
