This has been fixed on master today (internal ref: ag/2945015) and will be available in the next SDK release.
Description
When using useK2Uast in Lint (version 8.4.0-alph07), I noticed a bug where it resolves the wrong overload of a function.
Example reproducer using
androidx.glance.unit.ColorProvider
and ComposeIn this case, this is referring to the
fun ColorProvider(color: Color): ColorProvider
API, which is a public and non-restricted API inColorProvider.kt
.However, lint in K2Uast reports an error because it thinks it's using a restricted overload that takes a color res input (
fun ColorProvider(@ColorRes resId: Int): ColorProvider
).Full snippets from
ColorProvider.kt
