Description

Many styles are not supported. Position, flex, box-shadow and many more do not work as per usual. Having Google lead the way for other email providers would be a great step in the right direction for email standards. I'm sure if Google started supporting these many others would.

Currently, Apple supports this with their email app on IPhone, which was surprising to me. I'm used to seeing things work on flawlessly on Google products but broken on Apple products.

Impact

Emails need to be crafted as if we are in 1998 all over again. Damage to your brand.
