The example below worked fine until gradle plugin version 8.3.x and now it fails with the message: > Task with name 'lintDebug' not found in project.

Going back to 8.2.x fixes the problem.

    afterEvaluate {
        extension.applicationVariants.all {
            val lintTask = tasks["lint${name.replaceFirstChar { if (it.isLowerCase()) it.titlecase(Locale.getDefault()) else it.toString() }}"]
            assembleProvider.get().dependsOn(lintTask)
        }
    }

Just adding another bug report to help with debugging, same issue as previous, just a system freeze then restart while scrolling through BaconReader. This time no microphone use in the background.
