What steps would let us observe this issue?
1. To test I open an application capable of reading a transport card working with NFC
2. The application tells me that NFC is not supported
3. There is also no option in the phone settings to enable or disable NFC

What did you expect to happen?
NFC had to be activated and functional to read my card

What actually happened?
NFC does not work

Same problem, I was very surprised this morning when I tried to pay as usual with my phone, but the payment was unsuccessful. There is no option to turn on NFC in the settings. My Pixel 8 became unusable for me.

The same issue here.

Also doesn't allow me to either disable or re-enable the NFC feature in the system settings.

Kind of a regret that I updated now, hopefully there is a fix soon rather than later.
