It seems like pixel buds does not show previous location when pixel 6 is on batter saver mode but I need to be on battery saver mode. Is there a way I can make an exception so it always shows the last location?
sp...@gmail.com <sp...@gmail.com> #5
For me it has nothing to do with battery saving. It simply does not show the last location despite allowing it. Did factory reset and checked all settings.

Been happening from the time I got the buds. I have a A series and the location works perfect with other phones but for some reason pixel 8 pro shows a greyed location when i tap on find the last location settings.

This is also affecting me, using my Pixel Buds Pro with a Pixel 8 Pro and cannot see location information for my Pixel Buds on my phone or the web.

Should be easily reproducible by logging into a factory-reset Android phone with a Google account that has already been migrated to Timeline, updating all apps in the play store, ensuring Timeline and relevant location/physical activity permissions are active in the updated Google Maps app, and then pairing Pixel Buds Pro or A-Series running latest publicly available firmware.

Crazy how long it has been without any update.

I'm facing the same issue. This is honestly a bit embarrassing. I guess it's just a big rush to fulfil DMA demands and they're ignoring this? Unfortunate.

Same here!
dm...@gmail.com <dm...@gmail.com> #16
For me it is fixed, now in Find My Device i see a location for my Pixel Buds Pro (it didn't work for half a year).
However, when i click on Find device in Pixel Buds app, it still does not shown Last known location, but this is not an issue since Find My Device works.
