Hi, this error only affects Cloud SDK version 186. It was previously reported in Issue 72407295 and a fix for it should be released in Cloud SDK version 187.
In the mean time, you can downgrade to Cloud SDK version 185 as a workaround by running the following command:
gcloud components update --version 185.0.0

Description
What You Would Like to Accomplish:
The primary goal is to have access to logs detailing the activity of firewall rules within the Standard App Engine environment. This would enable users to monitor traffic, detect anomalies, and troubleshoot issues related to network access control more effectively.
How This Might Work:
The implementation could involve integrating the logging functionality for firewall rules within the Standard App Engine environment into the existing Log Explorer interface. Users would be able to filter and view logs specific to firewall rule activities, including allowed and denied traffic, source and destination IPs, timestamps, and any associated metadata.
Reasons Why Alternative Solutions Are Not Sufficient:
Currently, there are no alternative solutions available for accessing firewall rule logs within the Standard App Engine environment. While it is possible to monitor network traffic using other tools and services, having native integration within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem would streamline the monitoring and management process, eliminating the need for additional third-party tools or custom integrations.
Other Information:
As of now, there are no known workarounds or alternative methods for accessing firewall rule logs in the Standard App Engine environment. This feature request is based on the existing capabilities provided for the Flexible version of App Engine and aims to extend similar functionality to the Standard version.
