The error you posted state "activity is cancelled by the user". This implies the request was cancelled somehow during the request.
Can you grab a bugreport and attach it to this bug?
Description
Current Behavior
There is a noticeable random delay (500-2000ms) before the "Sign-in with Google" bottom sheet appears when the credential request starts. I assume this delay is due to fetching Google accounts, which is a background task. Once the task is completed, the bottom sheet with the available accounts appears.
Expected Behavior
The "Sign-in with Google" bottom sheet should be shown immediately after the request starts, displaying a loader. This will create a smoother and more responsive user experience.
Impact
Displaying a bottom sheet immediately will improve the user experience by making the sign-in process feel faster and more efficient. Users will perceive the app as being more responsive and will be less likely to become frustrated while waiting for the sign-in options to appear.
