Starting from API level 33, AAOS emulators are shipped without Google Play Store:

I ran into crashes due to an old version of the Template Host app and features available in the latest Car app lib. I am sure of this because I was able to reproduce the same in AAOS 12 and solve the issue by updating the Template Host using Google Play.

What is the new process to keep up the Template Host synced with the Car App lib in the newer AAOS emulators?

Hi samsadch,

In the AndroidX PDF library, the search view is animated using the WindowInsetsAnimation.Callback. If you're using the same callback in a parent view hierarchy that contains the PdfViewerFragment's container, ensure that you set the dispatchMode to DISPATCH_MODE_CONTINUE_ON_SUBTREE. This setting allows the callback to propagate further down the view hierarchy.

Without this, the callback might be consumed at an upper level, preventing it from being received by the PdfViewerFragment's container.
