I'm hoping this remaining coverage gets released. The majority of La Palma and parts of Buena Park, Cerritos and Cypress don't have a lot of Gen 4 coverage on their residential streets, and I'm very obvious that the two vehicles drove on those streets during those times. I'm also very concerned that the current December 2017 imagery sometimes has unblurred license plates and faces, which are a total privacy breach that cannot be corrected without releasing the unpublished summer 2018 coverage.

There may be a major Street View update this month or next month. We'll keep an eye on it, so long as this goes planned; but if nothing we'll see what happens in the coming year.

Welp, no major Street View update happened this year. But as we enter 2025, there could be something exciting. We just don't know for sure.

JFYI: while I don't known any records, here is the list of LA cities where this coverage is currently missing:
- Artesia
- Bell Gardens
- Cerritos
- Costa Mesa
- Downey
- Fountain Valley
- Fullerton
- Hawaiian Gardens
- Huntington Beach
- Lakewood
- Midway City
- Newport Beach
- Norwalk
- Pico Rivera
- Placentia
- Rossmoor
- Santa Ana
- Santa Fe Springs
- Seal Beach
- South Whittier
- West Whittier-Los Nietos
Where Gen 4 has driven in these areas during the time, major highways include:
- I-5
- SR-57
- SR-91
- I-105
- I-405
- I-605
- I-710
The coverage is largely specific to LA's Gateway Cities and much of northern and central Orange County.

An example,
Honestly, I would add the same reason as I did in reporting the removed Gen 4 data from 2017: to add in missing coverage. If the coverage can be completed, I would be happy to see a more extensive and accurate timeline in the area. Please take this into consideration. Thanks.
