We are using IdP for authentication and when we enter the url on the browser for initiating the authentication we observe that there is a duplicate request due to which once the authentication is finished, the browser shows an error page even though authentication has successfully completed.
URL entered on browser -

https://login.zscalerbeta.net/clstart?version=1&_domain=ugupta.zscalerbeta.net&redrurl=https%3a%2f%2fmobile%2ezscalerbeta%2enet%2fappredir%2ehtml&code_challenge=HGPitoPk8qs1vlDaqtTfsp8GH7RX1EIy6Y2UAvCflTk&code_challenge_method=S256

Redirected URL -

https://login.zscalerbeta.net/sfc_sso

From the .har file we can see that after sometime there is another redirection to

https://login.zscalerbeta.net/sfc_sso (duplicate)
This is only observed in android devices and the same url is working fine on other platforms like chromebooks and windows etc.
We need to know how the browser is sending the duplicate request to

https://login.zscalerbeta.net/sfc_sso and if this can be fixed ? Also, please note that its affecting all previous app versions which were working fine before.

Which Android build are you using? (e.g. TQ3A.230705.001.A1)

Which device did you use to reproduce this issue?

Can you confirm if this issue is reproducible on a Pixel/Nexus device?

Are you reporting this as Developer or User?

Please provide a sample project or apk to reproduce the issue. Also mention the steps to be followed for reproducing the issue with the given sample project or apk.

Alternate method
Navigate to “Developer options”, ensure “USB debugging” is enabled, then enable “Bug report shortcut”. Capture bug report by holding the power button and selecting the “Take bug report” option.

This issue was resolved using CustomTab rather than using Browser, as the CustomTab will be usable and share the stores from WebView or chrome, no matter which browser is default, will be doing the job for us.
