What you would like to accomplish:
**Worldline would like to have a HSM key export feature available. For being able to export HSM keys from GCP Key Management Service and have them imported into another HSM Solution.**

How this might work:
**Adding an option for each key stored on GCP KMS to select export and then select the required export format and location for the key to be exported and stored.**

If applicable, reasons why alternative solutions are not sufficient:
**Currently the export functionality is not available within GCP KMS.**

Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
**To prevent vendor lock in and impact on "future migrations" of our services, hosted on GCP, we are now using our own HSM's to create/export/convert HSM Keys and have them imported in GCP KMS. It will safe us significant time and cost when the export functionality would be available within GCP KMS. This would mean we can directly create new HSM Keys within GCP KMS and enable automatic key rotation knowing that we are not tight to Google and prevent any future issues when migrating to another HSM Solution.**
