In my job as an Android Developer Relations engineer, I regularly (most days) use Android Studio to take screenshots from Android devices or emulators. The ultimate destination for these screenshots is usually a Google Doc.

The problem is that the resolution of Android screens is so large these days that the resulting screenshots are too large to paste directly into Google Docs (error msg: The image format is invalid or unsupported), meaning I have to have an intermediate step of copying into Preview, then resizing, then copying again. The same is true when Slides and Figma are the target documents.

Would it be possible to add a resize option to the Android Studio "Take Screenshot" window (screenshot attached) to scale down these images and allow easier copying into other document platforms?
