After updating my app to use Play Billing Library v6.2.1, the following permissions were automatically added to the manifest:

* View network connections
* Have Full Network Access

This change isn't documented, and from quick analysis, doesn't seem to be essential.

This has come as a shock to me as well as the users of my app.

According this StackOverflow question, the permission comes from a library called transport-backend-cct:3.1.8.

• remove the permissions if they are not essential to billing functionality
• document them if they are essential
