DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL: Render issue in Preview window when the preview composable is in screenshotTest/java folder

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. Use plugin version "0.0.1-alpha02"
2. Write a preview composable
3. Will see a render issue with the below log

I tried adding screenshotTestImplementation(libs.androidx.window) but it didn't fix it.

This is likely a duplicate of b/388773416. Could you try adding libs.androidx.window dependency to implementation to see if it works?

If you could provide a simple repro project that would be ideal. But please provide details like: Where is this class defined? (main/, screenshotTest/ etc, same module as your tests or different?) Is this a @Preview based annotation class or a test class?

The command works from the terminal generating screenshots and verifying them.

Also, in the gradle file I have
implementation("androidx.compose.ui:ui-tooling-preview")
debugImplementation("androidx.compose.ui:ui-tooling")
screenshotTestImplementation("androidx.compose.ui:ui-tooling")

Maybe you'll get the issue with this configuration.

This class (FeatureScreenshots) is defined in the screenshotTest directory. Preview works in the main directory. It's a class with Preview functions referencing classes in main.

Hi! I was experiencing this as well, but simply moving the preview functions out of the class in my screenshot test source set worked for me. I can now see the previews in Android studio and the gradle task generated the reference images correctly.
