sometime postal code didn't get correctly and sometime didn't show postal code.what i do for solve this issue??

It is great to see strictbounds option having been added to 3.27 (currently 3.exp) so results aren’t biased and are now fixed to the bounds or location+radius options.  This does help to reduce the issue raised with this request though many boundaries that could be filtered on are far from a perfect rectangles or circles so this request is still really needed.

The biggest trouble I’ve encountered that is part of this issue is undertaking work for non-country based government bodies.  E.g. State, council and county bodies.  There are many of these, all who usually have strict requirements to service specifically their area and any integration of autocomplete for them, at the moment, is troublesome with results being returned outside their area of service.

I am creating a service for citizens of California, Illinois, and a few other states. It would be great to be able to limit autocomplete results to those states.

Especially since the Python docs claim that this is possible (though it isn't)

The fact that there are 33 duplicate issues would possibly indicate that many are asking for a way to limit search autocomplete by state or region. This is indeed a "NeatIdea" that should be implemented. A way to restrict results by state would be VERY helpful for me.

Please look into this. For now I'm using setBoundsBias which is barely a workaround. There's no reason for my app to show results from my entire country when my company only serves a specific administrative_area_level_2.

A useful option at the Autocomplete class would be the filtering (restriction) of the results, defining an specific parameter, for example postal_code or administrative_area.
Such as the country can be restricted at the componentRestrictions.

I am extremely surprised this issue has not been solved yet. This issue is resulting in Google Address Autocomplete flatly not functioning for UK merchants for anyone via Shopify, Magento and BigCommerce.

For cities like Baltimore MD, Richmond VA, we are not getting any result for administrative_area_level_2  of address_components. Is there any workaround to this?

+1 for State. Bounding boxes are a poor substitute since states are not rectangles and the rectangular boxes will include locations across borders. Oklahoma's bounding box will be nearly 50% in Texas.

Why is this a P3? :O When we wish to make things accurate, granularity is a must and city would just be one step into it.
