@r22, I think Jeff is referring to the ability to split popular times by day of week in the information released by the API, not the currently existing web GUI.
Maybe the info appears as a nested object? e.g. "popular times" > "day of week" > "hour of day" > traffic count

Can we download image by providing the date, month and year while downloading images from maps static api? I cannot find any way to download images by putting the date information. Kindly help anyone or is there any other method or API from where we can download images by giving date, month or year as a time stamp?
Thanks
Thanks

Same issue here. Google Earth engine allows me to download images by date depending on the dataset, but Maps Static API does not. This is important to keep track of surface changes through time.

Would be extremely helpful to have access to this data directly via the API. Is it maybe available via another API?

Would it violate TOA if a scraper run Google Earth and retrieved the image date based on lat/lng?
an...@gmail.com <an...@gmail.com> #29
waiting to get popular times info from Google Places API
mo...@gmail.com <mo...@gmail.com> #30
+1 and it’d be cool to have a slider to adjust the date time of the satellite image shown
Description
I am looking for a programmatic way to find the date of the satellite image for the lat, long coordinate. In the Google Earth desktop application when I go to a specific coordinate, the image date shows at the bottom of the screen. However, I cannot find a way to pull the date of the satellite image using this or other APIs.
For Image Extraction I am using this API
I can easily make url from python to extract the Image.
Can anyone suggest how I can extract the imagery dates.
Thanks
