Due to the verbosity of custom map styles and given the URL length limitation, I think it would be great if the API accepted a URL pointing to a remote style sheet similar to how it currently accepts the URL to a custom marker icon. The style sheet could simply be a JSON file containing an array of styles. It could even contain marker styles to further reduce the length of the URL and make more room for other parameters.
