Currently persistent connection are not supported for 30 second instances. However, with no time limit on backend instances and support for public request handling, backend instances are prime candidate for persistent connections.

When I set the Connection header for a response, it is removed by app engine.

Persistent connection would help with rtmpt for app engine.

Is NTLM authentication supported or not. In the latest version 1.7.7. If suppored how to do it in java.
