The new Jetpack PDF library is very promising, and was sorely missed on Android!
After reviewing the available APIs, it appears they only support local URIs and do not accept PDF files as byte arrays or even better a random access input stream. I submit this feature request as it would enable supporting DRM-protected PDFs (such as [LCP for PDFs](
