Would you be able to provide an example app which produces an error for which gcloud doesn't report, but appcfg.py does?

I think I have found a bug within App Engine for Python. Please click the link to read my issue.
According to Google Code I should be able to return None, a single entity, or a list of entities when calling a post_import_function when using App Engine's bulkloader. However returning None or a list of entities crashes the bulkloader but returning a single entity does not.
