Feature request
Screen starts stuttering and jerking anytime that I am using my phone for anything that has animations to it, apps, videos with adds, news basically everything and it will stutter, jerk and then lock up and close the app I was using. It has done it several times an hour every day since the most recent update. I am very irritated by this because I basically cannot use my phone for anything but calls and texts at the moment due to this issue!!! Please repair it immediately. Thank you

Screen jitters and blinks during any use that has animations then it freezes and closes the apps and loses everything I just did in those apps. It causes my phone to get hot as well and it is doing this every few minutes since my last update.

- Request for you to follow the below instructions and submit a new bug report and trace.
1. Open the Traceur app:
1. Navigate to Developer Options in Settings > System
- If you don't see Developer Options, go to Settings > System > About phone, scroll to the bottom, and tap Build number until it says "Congratulations!".
2. Tap "System Tracing" near the bottom of the Debugging section
3. Toggle “Record trace” to start the trace
4. Reproduce the bug or performance issue
5. Toggle “Record trace” again to stop the trace
6. Tap “Save and share trace” and follow the prompts to share your trace, like you would a bug report. Attach the trace (which will be a .perfetto-trace or .ctrace file) to the bug.
7. Take your bug report and file your bug as usual. Add both the bug report and your new trace to the bug! For steps to capture a bug report, please refer:

Similar issue to above: stuttering / low framerate in scrolling web comic apps. It's a bit random and resolves on new chapters sometimes.

Smooth and consistent performance just like previous Android 14.
What actually happened?
Jittering and skipping frames when executing an animation.

Extreme - device was unusable
Additional comments
Device would ramp the refresh rate down resulting in jerky animations and while doing that, the animations executed would stutter and freeze leading to an unusable device. Only encountered this in Android 15, QPR1 Beta. There was inconsistent animation execution with Android 15 Beta 4.2 but not this severe.
There is also occasional overheating that led to this problem. However, Android 14 would handle such performance throttling gracefully without any freezing aside from rough animations resulting from a ramped down refresh rate.
