Description
Please provide as much information as possible. At least, this should include a description of your issue and steps to reproduce the problem. If possible please provide a summary of what steps or workarounds you have already tried, and any docs or articles you found (un)helpful.
Problem you have encountered:
Our docker security scanner noticed that the nginx version that's currently installed in the base image of cloud functions is no longer maintained and because of that also not receiving any security patches anymore.
What you expected to happen:
I think the base image should include an nginx version which is still maintained.
I propose updating to at least 1.26.2
Steps to reproduce:
Deploy a cloud function using the gcloud CLI on a project where container scanning is enabled for artifact registry.
