We're seeing a similar error in our code. Appears to be a combination of AGP 8.6.0 and Kotlin 2 needed to hit it.

Description
1. When I change the font and then click cancel it will make the font "More Fonts..."
2. Steps to reproduce:
2A. Open a layout xml in split view
2B. Then go into the visual part and under fontFamily click the "More Fonts" option
2C. Now select any font
2D. Then click back on the fontFamily "More Fonts" option and then it should say "More Fonts..." in the code view even when you cancel the font.
