What you would like to accomplish:

When the CMEK key associated with a PD becomes inaccessible, GKE PODs depending on that PD should automatically shut themselves down.

How this might work:

- Similar to Configure VM shutdown on Cloud KMS key revocation [1], but for GKE PODs.
