AppSearch provides excelent capabilities which we can use for searching through our content. The only blocker which we currently have with its usage is security.

We use EncryptedSharedPreferences for storing data securely in shared preferences and SQLCipher for encrypting our Room database. In case of AppSearch we don't see any way to secure the local storage of it.
