Changing themes/styles can be very helpful for creating publishable forms programmatically. In Hebrew (and maybe in other non-English languages too) the default font is often switched with a more readable one, so being able to create forms without having to manually change their fonts later can significantly improve the experience for non-English forms.

Running into an issue at my organization with theming generated forms. This functionality would be very useful. Google -- any updates on the status of this request?

I would just like to set the background color. You can choose a color using the form builder tool but you can't do it if you generate your forms using apps script *sigh*.
