Description
What is the incorrect behavior that you are experiencing?
The SDK does not expose the primary type of a place. The introduction of the property is announced in the blog post Introducing the new Places API with access to EV, accessibility features, and more and listed in the documentation of the web service API .
What should happen instead?
The Places SDK for iOS should expose the primary type somehow, preferably as part of the place details. This enables apps to show the most important type of a place, e.g. whether it's a coffee shop or Japanese restaurant.
Operating system version: iOS 18.0
Google Maps SDK for iOS version: 9.1.1
Google Places API for iOS version: 9.1.0
