Thanks for your report.
We have an internal feature request open with engineering team to provide XPN support for GKE. However, I don't have any estimated time that I can share right now.
I'll update this issue report with the reference of internal feature request. As such, we'll update this thread with any progress updates or resolution.

It would be so great to have this feature implemented!

Description
Our use case would be something like this:
2 GCP projects: Project A and Project B
A and B peered with network peering and custom subnets
1 cluster in project A in us-central1 region
1 cluster in project B in asia-northeast1 region
service to manage centralized database setup as Internal Load Balancers setup on project A
Client in project B configured to call internal load balancer
Is this in the works? Is it feasible? We've looked into XPN as well and that does not support GKE either.
