Description
#1Step to reproduce the the problem:
- Have an application installed that requires being a Device administrator.
- Navigate to the Security > Device administrator menu then tap the checkbox next to the application that you want to deactivate.
- Next screen pops up, tap deactivate.
- When you're returned to the Device administrators menu, the box will still appear to be checked.
- If you return to the home screen, then go back into the menu, the application checkbox will be unchecked.
It makes sense to me that the check box would clear after returning from the deactivation screen. I've tested this on a Samsung Galaxy S3s, Galaxy Nexus, Motorola Razr M, Stratosphere and Stratosphere 2, all with up-to-date software. In case it matters, the application I was deactivating was Lotus Traveler.
