Which device? All devices supported in AOSP run either 4.1 or 4.3 at this point.

Make volume slider disappear faster
Feature Request
Description
It often obscures videos, which are often when the volume needs to be changed.
It should disappear as soon as the volume keys are released.
It also should not have the thick grey Holo background but be transparent.
Why do you need to see if for 3 seconds, after the volume has already *audibly* changed?
