Description
- Take a screenshot in AS, save it somewhere, say ~/Pictures
- Switch to Google Chrome (for example), Gmail (for example) and try to attach the just saved file
- It should be under "Recently used" tab, but it's not -- you'd have to browse for it at the actual location
I'm running Fedora 24 + XFCE, but I suppose Gnome or KDE also have similar "recently used file" lists.
Haven't checked Windows, but I believe Windows does too.
Properly telling the OS about the just saved file -- is a convenience thing, when you are in the middle of responding to a support email and need to quickly take a screenshot ("here is where that settings is") and attach it to your response.
It's also a standard OS feature and should be supported.
