We use build flavours heavily with a lot of common code. The refactoring support in AS is really good but it continually catches us out when it doesn't work across all flavours in a project. It's a big gap for serious product development.

Studio Build: if you mean AS version then its 2.2.3
Version of Gradle Plugin: how to know?
Version of Gradle: 2.14.1
Version of Java: 8
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Steps to Reproduce:
I tried reinstalling latest versions of Android Studio (with and without AntiVirus protection) but it didn't help.
My error was: Protocol Family not available.
I tried solving the error bu adding an environment variable (got the solution from stackoverflow and youtube) _JAVA_OPTIONS and setting its value to "-Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true" and the error disappeared but now I am facing another error as:
"Error:Could not connect to server [8fd6ee6b-21a9-42e9-966f-97ef75799e76 port:49755, addresses:[/
Please help. These errors are really getting on my nerves.
