Description
Please provide as much information as possible. At least, this should include a description of your issue and steps to reproduce the problem. If possible please provide a summary of what steps or workarounds you have already tried, and any docs or articles you found (un)helpful.
Problem you have encountered:
Attached is the image file ""Inv-20241005T165532-4.Png"" from which text should be detected as TEST but it has started to fail and detects weird text as S\nU, which is completely off.
What you expected to happen:
Text should be detected as TEST and not S\nU,
Steps to reproduce:
I used the google vision api with api key and get Text as S\nU instead of TEST for the attached image Inv-20241005T165532-4.Png . This can also be reproduced from
text detection for image for Cloud Vision when I used "Try It" link from cloud vision
Please see the screenshots for process and attached JSON result when using the try it link from cloud vision.
Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
As mentioned beside failing with the api key for this account, I have reproduced the same problem from Cloud Vision Try it link when I give it the image "Inv-20241005T165532-4.Png". This was working previously and it seems there is an algorithm change that has happened , which is causing this issue.
