Apparently spanish people like to include their fiscal identification (NIF) in the address, which is not relevant to the address itself. More specifically it is being added to the Additional info field of the address, which we then add to addressLines in the validation API. The request:

In my opinion it should filter out all fiscal information (NIF, VAT, ...) out of addresses by default, or give an option to do so. Because people put all kinds of stuff in the address, and that's what validation should be for.
