I used to use the "Toggle tools visibility and position" button in the top-right corner of the layout view to toggle the visibility of the view set through tools:visibility when designing the layout. It was a very handy tool. However, since version 2024 (or possibly 2023.3.1), I haven't seen this button in the layout editor. I wonder if this is a bug or a dropped feature.
