Description

Google Chat CardsV2 seems to have an unspecified section, widget, or character limit that breaks the card when exceeded.

By adding one additional { "textParagraph": { "text": "text" } } widget under "widgets" under "sections", the resulting Card is broken and results in an entire section being removed.

Steps

1. Use an application to send a POST request to a Google Chat Space webhook (e.g. reqbin, or use a terminal)
2. Send the JSON code from "cardsV2 broken json.json" to the webhook using the API.
3. The resulting Card in Google Chat will be the card displayed in "CardsV2JsonBroke.png"

Expected Outcome

There is no clear limit specified for sections, character limits, etc. in Google Chat cards. If there is a limitation, it is not specified in Google Chat API documentation.
