1. Describe the bug or issue that you're seeing.

When using the top right gradle task list, a gradle task with a command line tool cannot be run since Lady Bug update. Try something like:

// Does not work from Android Studio's Task List. Even after clean computer reboot.
// Works from Android Studio's Tasks List when android studio is opened using terminal: open -na "Android Studio"
// Always works with `./gradlew cargoVersion`, regardless of startup process.
tasks.register<Exec>("cargoVersion") {
    commandLine("cargo", "--version")
}

• This seems to happen to any cli tool that requires a custom path, maybe more. Cargo is just used in the example since that's what I was trying to use.

As commented, when you open android studio using open -na "Android Studio" from Terminal, both the tasks list and terminal methods work. Open from the app icon in finder (even after a clean reboot of the machine) and it immediately fails again.

2. Attach log files from Android Studio 2A. In the IDE, select the Help..Collect Logs and Diagnostic Data menu option. 2B. Create a diagnostic report and save it to your local computer. 2C. Attach the report to this bug using the Add attachments button.

3. If you know what they are, write the steps to reproduce:

   3A. Open Android Studio on MacOS using the app icon (Finder) 3B. Create a new project or using an existing one with a command line tool task (e.g. the sample provided). 3C. Run the task.

In addition to logs, please attach a screenshot or recording that illustrates the problem.
