Description
1) What's the feature?
I’m requesting more flexible date formatting options in Looker Studio’s graphs. Currently, the date display on graphs appears inconsistently, sometimes aligned, sometimes staggered, or even at different angles (e.g., 45 degrees), which makes it look disorganized. It would be very helpful to have options to control the alignment and angle of date labels.
Additionally, I’ve encountered issues where some graphs don’t respect the custom date format selected in the data range settings. I would like a feature that ensures consistent adherence to the chosen date format across all visualizations.
2) How do you plan on using this feature?
I would apply this feature to every graph in my reports to ensure a clean, consistent presentation.
3) What's the impact that this feature will have on you or your business? (Time saved, new users, etc.)
This feature would significantly enhance the professionalism of our reports, allowing me to share them with clients and stakeholders. Currently, I have to manually recreate graphs in Google Sheets due to Looker Studio’s limited formatting options. Implementing these features would save time and allow me to produce polished, reliable reports directly in Looker Studio, aligning it more closely with the formatting capabilities found in Google Sheets.
