Long touch action triggers. For example, the Internet tile would open the Internet page in Settings

Single touch action triggers. For example, the Internet tile would open quick Internet settings popup instead of the full page in Settings.

Force touch was introduced in Pixel as a way to trigger actions that require a long press quickly.
Before Android 15 QPR1 and QPR2, you could press the tile quickly but hard, to trigger the long press action instantaneously, instead of waiting for the long press to kick in. An update in the quick settings tile animations has broken this behavior.
