Inspired by the showcase Calendar App at
The Android Auto integration uses the POI category, lists upcoming appointments and allows the user to navigate to the appointment (aka point of interest) or call it, same as the showcase app.
It works and was approved by the PlayStore.
Without any changes to the Android Auto part our current update was rejected with "Your app does not fall under the accepted app categories."
As far as i understand it, adding Android Auto functionality to an already existing app should be supported and the app functionality on the smartphone should be considered separately.
Our appeal failed without any explaination, just repeating the text above (and highlighting .
