Yes, I agree there is definitely an ongoing issue in this beta 2 with battery drain. Google play services and such seems to be draining the battery a lot more too in the background. Very abnormal.

I can verify this. Same issue on A16b1 at times. Would need a restart, then the phone would cool down. But then something in the background would start draining again. Google Play Store would always run in background, even if "allow in background" is disabled. Same for several other apps. At times would drain 8-10% an hour, and when you look under battery, it's all systems apps draining. Google app is another one that does this. AND you aren't able to force stop it either.

I also confirm that switching from latest qpr beta 3 a15 to a16 beta 2 deep sleep is not working at all... device never sleeps, few apps showing literaly 0% deep sleep after few hours of screen off.

same here

+1 on Pixel 6 Pro (raven). 100% at midnight, unplugged and down to 25% by 09:00 with 2 hours of SOT and 85% battery health (as measured by Accubattery).
Refer to images attached for statistics on device performance. Accubattery reports that 0% of screen off time is during "Deep Sleep". The 'Google' app appears to have quite high background usage as mentioned in comment 4.
I honestly don't know how this isn't spotted in even basic testing during development. This is a mission critical feature on a phone and has made my phone almost unusable, needing to be charged multiple times per day.

Ignore my comment that a factory reset fixes the problem
