Brief Dataset description: Prepared for Analysis By integrating data from reliable, third-party sources (Landsat, Sentinel-2, MODIS, VIIRS), PlanetScope enhances temporal and spatial consistency while combining the monitoring advantages of near-daily 3 m spatial imagery. Time-series analysis and machine learning applications are made possible by a proprietary technique that produces near-daily stacks of images that are pre-processed, harmonised, and spatially consistent. Large volumes of reference data in the Planet Archive provide extremely high geometrical and radiometric accuracy in the final 4-band data. Data is more accurate and pre-formatted for time-series analysis and machine learning applications when pre-processing is deeper and more comprehensive.
