One more detail, Data Layer event calls from the watch to the phone (running Android 13) do work on if the listener is in an Activity or Fragment.
Description
Now we're designing the next SOC generation for Automotive business. This SOC will support the new AOSP version from 2027 to 2036. I would like to ask about the Codec requirement for GAS and future direction of Google’s Automotive Roadmap.
Currently, according to Google CDD, we see the following for Automotive codec requirements
AV1. 4K AVC is not mandatory(while It is MUST items for Handheld only), the below is MUST items
Could you please share Google’s future strategies for Codec support? Specially will there be any plans to make AV1 or 4K AVC support mandatory?
