The R8 build does include these files in our jar and they are not used/needed. I'll amend our build to avoid including them and merge it to the release branches.
Description
Deep Links for App Home
It would be an incredible UX upgrade to be able to generate deep links for the Chat App Home. Instead of having to tell people to follow a multi step click, a click on a link or button would take them there.
In addition for a link to App Home, being able to link to subitems in App Home would go along well with the push to extend app building inside chat (this would require an option to do routing via url parameters)
For Space Threads/Tasks, we can currently get URLs by pressing the ... and requesting a deep link, but it would be simpler, if in addition the url of the currently open thread was reflected in the browser and could just be copied from there, as with any other webpage.
Option to have links open in same tab/window
If a Link in App Home is clicked, this link will open in a new tab. That can be nice, but often it's not, and I think a parameter to control this is in order, to upgrade the UX around all these new chat app options.
The same goes for links from a homepage sidebar addon: If I have chat open, and it's a link to somewhere in chat, I probably want to jump to the chat space instead of opening a new tab.
