Description
What you expected to happen:
I'd expect actions taken in the data blends, data sources, and filters would be isolated activity and not impacted by a dashboard editing undo. If anything I would expect the data blend to revert the change rather than delete the blend altogether.
Steps to reproduce:
Create a data blend and save your changes
Create a new dashboard component or edit an existing one to use this new data blend
First attempt to break (cmd+z) to undo changes (you may have to undo a few times)
this first attempt does not always delete the blend
update the chart to use the data blend again
go into the data blend and rename it, save your change
click the component using the data blend and undo (cmd+z)
the chart will very likely break indicating the blend was deleted
check and confirm the blend disappeared
Other information (workarounds you have tried, documentation consulted, etc):
I have attempted to undo the blend being deleted but that only undoes other changes
I've checked the version history to attempt to correct the change
Unfortunately, I have found the only option is to recreate the blend (this can be difficult if you weren't the one to create it in the first place). A possible stop gap is to have 2 of every data blend so you have a backup incase one get deleted.
