It appears that you’re using Android Studio Meerkat | 2024.3.1 Canary 3, which doesn't yet support XR. This feature is available in Canary 5 and above.
Could you please update to Android Studio Meerkat | 2024.3.1 Canary 6? You can do this by going to Settings > Check for Updates in Android Studio. Alternatively, you can download and install the latest version directly from the following link:
